Chris started out in IT recruitment back in 2002 and joined the Bridge as a Consultant in 2005. More recently, Chris has moved into a Director role at the Bridge, where he gets involved in a range of strategic initiatives as well as looking after delivery with his key clients and managing a team of consultants. Chris obtained a 1st class degree in computing back in 2001 and still enjoys reminding people of this fact even though the tech he learned is all but obsolete…
Chris sees his strengths as being in account management, technical delivery, mentoring and relationship building and this has helped him support organisations of all sizes as well as help others to develop their skills at the Bridge. His technical understanding has been a huge asset to the team when interpreting technical specifications, assessing candidates and building bridges with Tech teams. During his time in IT recruitment, Chris has become interested in areas such as IoT, AI and nextgen gaming and particularly enjoys working with disruptive start-ups.
Outside of work, Chris loves the outdoors and enjoys travelling, mountain biking, snowboarding, football, running etc. Whilst indoors, video gaming, geeky films / box sets and the odd tipple when time allows…. Chris is married with two boys, Dylan who is a budding artist, master-jigsaw puzzler and mathematician and Max who loves his guitar, football and re-enacting all Fortnites’s dance moves.
