Cyber Security Project Manager - 12 month Fixed Term Contract

The Bridge IT have partnered with a national financial company to recruit a Cyber Security Project Manager on a 12 month basis as they look to improve and expand their security capabilities.

As a Project Manager you will support the delivery of improvements of their Cyber Security defences. You will be key to the delivery of complex change focussed on vulnerability management and remediation, and data encryption. You will lead the initiatives from inception to delivery to achieve high quality outcomes, whilst applying the appropriate governance and oversight.

What Youll Do
Delivery of a Data Encryption solution for confidential and strictly confidential data at rest and in Transit, to include technical key management

Managing and controlling the approach that the company will adopt to link key business services to their supporting technical infrastructure

Lead the inception and formalisation of the internal governance forum that will define, control and report against the approach and supporting Risk framework that manages the software patching

Working with Information Security Team to catalogue and embed configuration build standards across their technology estate

Working collaboratively with Procurement, engage with 3rd party providers to identify, implement and drive maximum commercial value from any required enabling capability

Lead the process mapping that will support choices for Data Encryption

Lead the end to end delivery of complex change initiatives from inception to delivery

You will have full accountability for the overall scope, timeline, budget, dependencies, risk/issues and benefits of these initiative(s), and will report into a wider Programme structure

You will ensure appropriate assurance, governance and reporting is in place and that Sponsors and Key Stakeholders are fully engaged

You will enable successful delivery of required business outcomes by ensuring compliance with Change Lifecycle Governance

How You'll Do It
You will be able to evidence experience of delivering change focussed on improving technology within these subject areas

You will be able to evidence that you have successfully led complex change initiatives that impact people, process and technology

You'll have an accreditation in programme or project management (PRINCE2, MSP, APM, Agile) or equivalent in practical experience

You'll use your excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to manage and resolve risk and competing/conflicting priorities

You will be able to show how you bring your understanding and experience to bear on the delivery challenges you are facing in order to drive change at the right pace and bring your stakeholders with you

You will be able to draw on your knowledge and experience of a broad range of industry practices in lifecycle methodologies
