.NET Developer - Leeds

The Bridge IT have partnered with UK’s leading independent leasing, fleet management and vehicle outsourcing business. They’re looking to bring in an engaging team lead with a passion for technology and the development process.  You will be an advocate of clean code, test automation, process improvement, and collaborative working.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop skills through coaching & development of less experienced team members
  • Support development rituals within the team working towards key objectives
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing and estimating new IT software requirements.
  • Lead on development and modification of new and existing software applications based on prioritisation

Essential skills:

  • Strong understanding of C#/Vb.Net, MVC, Web Forms, .Net framework, .net core
  • Web client technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
  • Scrum teams, sprint planning, estimation, daily rituals, release management
  • Effective capacity planning & resource management within a matrix model
  • Collaborative code design referencing common architectural and class design patterns
  • Work management using Azure DevOps or equivalent ALM tools and Git source control
  • Unit, integration, and acceptance test automation
  • Application development within a Microsoft .net technology stack (including web UI, service, communication, and database persistence frameworks)
