Engineering Project Manager

The Bridge are partnered with a global high-tech business based in Leeds.

Due to continued growth they are looking to add a Project Manager who has experience of leading engineering development projects.

The individual must have proven experience managing multi-site teams and ideally come from an Electrical Engineering/Electrical Manufacturing/Engineering background.

You must be or have the following;
*Extensive work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of project development and execution.
*Substantial evidence of leading multi million-pound engineering development projects.
*Degree qualified
*Project Management qualification.

Responsibilities will include:

Coordinating and managing projects through their full life cycle in accordance with the company's governance processes and procedures.

Delivering projects to Time, Cost and Quality targets.

Manage and oversee the commercial components of the project, ensuring all contractual deliverables are supplied, to the right level of quality, in accordance with the contract to the customer

Must be an excellent communicator and stakeholder manager, engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

Support and direct multi-disciplined project teams and encourage collaborative working across the organisation.

Act as the focal point for all project activities.

Apply Risk Management best practice throughout the lifecycle process.

Manage the scope and requirements. Make sure all changes are properly assessed and controlled.

Provide the Project Management in feed into bids including cost and time estimates, compliance statement, technical solution, work package definition, schedule and risks.

Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of effective project management processes, tools and reporting mechanisms.
