Enterprise Data Modeller - £70,000 - Leeds

The Bridge IT have partnered with a financial organisation operating on a national level to recruit an Enterprise Data Modeller to join the Information Architecture team.

As an Enterprise Data Modeller you will maintain the enterprise data model, ensuring delivery of project data models and database designs into an enterprise view. You will set standards, processes and controls for data model and database design management linking with the business metadata. You will be using the latest suite of technologies to create and maintain data models that link to our business and technical metadata to provide end-to-end data lineage.

Role Responsibilities
Working closely with technical teams, Senior Data Analysts, Architects, Data Governance and business data stewards to define an enterprise ontology to provide traceability of technical data lineage and business logic
Providing the definition and maintenance of enterprise and canonical data models and associated metadata
Defining enterprise taxonomies and namespaces
Maintaining data modelling and database design processes, standards and governance controls
Responsible for data model versioning and integration of project data models into production
Upholding corporate legal & regulatory responsibilities in relation to data retention and usage

Key Skills
In-depth knowledge of data modelling and relational database design
Experience of working with Data Stewards to understand enterprise requirements
Experience of designing enterprise repositories covering both business and technical metadata
Knowledge of TOGAF or other architecture frameworks
Awareness of microservices architecture design
Experience using Data Governance Catalogues, Data Modelling tools
Experience of using Orbus iServer would be desirable, but not essential
