We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Build Manager to join a leading client based in either the Leeds or Rochdale office.
Working in the Technology department, reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Network Build Manager will play a critical role in delivering internal technology strategy.
We are looking for a Network Build Manager who will have experience in an ISP, Telecoms or very large enterprise in leading and managing network engineers or other build function. You will be managing a team of up to 12 engineers and will be responsible for the delivery of a range of technology domains including IP MPLS core network, broadband and ethernet access networks. To ensure you can support this, you will be familiar with network engineering processes and relevant frameworks such as ITIL and eToM.
The Network Build Manager will be expected to work closely with their peers, to identify common challenges, drive forward improvements and be comfortable leading and managing change on different scales. Be able to share and flex resources for the wider benefit of the business will also be important. At times, there will be a need to deputise for the Head of Engineering along with overseeing the build, test and deployment of the business Core and Access Networks.
Future technology forms an essential part of this role including the support of automation and orchestration practices. The Network Build Manager will work closely with other teams within the department to identify opportunities where technologies can enable improvements.

You will have experience in working with and leading changes to enterprise scale networks, business platforms and infrastructure along with being an excellent communicator, listener and facilitator with a proven ability to work as part of a team.
We are looking for an experienced Network candidate who has solid managerial skills and has managed large teams previously.
