Operations Engineer / Technical Support Analyst – Windows 10 / Office 365 / SCCM

The Bridge IT have partnered with a global organisation in the heart of Leeds City Centre to a recruit a Technical Support / Operations Engineer to focus on the continued development and maintenance of the company’s Operating Systems.
As Operations Engineer you will :
• Provide technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures.
• Within a broad area of competence, take ownership of incidents, problems and other requests for support and determine the appropriate action to take..
• Progress requests for support and ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed.
• Liaise with systems development staff and software suppliers on the development of system enhancements to overcome known problems.
• Document all work using required standards, methods and tools, including prototyping tools where appropriate.
• Developing plans for installation and commissioning of hardware and software are appropriate and following the prescribed specifications.

Technically, the Operations Engineer will possess expertise in the following :
• Proficiency in configuration management
• Familiarity with the principles and application of cloud / virtualisation and the use of tools to manage virtualised environments
• Windows 10 / Office 365
• Windows update / Evergreening / Patching
• Config Manager MECM / SCCM
• Packaging / Release Management
• AD ./ Group Policy
• Azure / Intune
