Operational Excellence / Process Improvement Consultant - Lean / Six Sigma

Currently looking for an Operational Excellence / Process Improvement Consultant for a well-established organisation based in South Yorkshire. This is a vital role within the organisations change team to support a business wide transformation programme. You will be required to document operational processes, produce standard operating procedures and identify opportunities to improve service through process re-engineering / simplification, automation and continuous improvement delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead process re-engineering initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodology
• Ensure processes are appropriately scoped and documented
• Able to facilitate and lead workshops and check activities against change commitments
• Work closely with business SMEs on best practice and toolsets to perform root cause analysis for any identified problems
• Document and present findings to senior stakeholders
• Manage daily project progression and mitigate issues / risks
• Ensure processes are fully articulated, verified and signed off
• Able to identify and structure issues, run accurate analyses and provide recommendations to drive and deliver results
• Ability to align work with organisational strategic / operational challenges

Desirable:

• Consultancy or Business Analyst experience
• Able to capture process maps in cloud-based BPM suites
• Possess an understanding of BPMN
• Experience in the application of robotics automation
• Experience in Tableau or Alteryx
• Exposures to strategic projects such as Target Operating Model development, customer experience improvement, cost optimisation or strategic outsourcing
