(RPA) Modeller Lead
Location: Sunderland
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary - Up to £55k plus benefits and flexible working

A new opportunity has become available to join our expanding Automation and Improvement team on a permanent basis to lead and support the delivery of robotic process automation across the business, to maximize the capability and generate a consistent return on investment.

This is a great opportunity to oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of RPA projects in line with agreed financial targets. Your expertise in this area will provide technical leadership and support to the RPA modellers to ensure consistency and quality of delivery.

Role Purpose:

This role requires you to work as a mentor and guide colleagues through the automation software lifecycle. You'll provide advice and guidance on best practice and development techniques to support the understanding of operational impacts of RPA delivery, and ensure quality of delivery.

As a newly established team you will build the capability of the RPA delivery team, actively working with external/internal clients to help achieve an independent regional working cell. Early on you'll be required to establish performance evaluation guidelines for implementation resources to allow expectations to be managed and that performance reviews are conducted for all resources.

Acting as a Blue Prism expert you'll handle technical questions and process guidance. This will require you to ensure up to date knowledge on Blue Prism and the automation industry, as well as evolving techniques in RPA delivery.

Working on a global scale you'll need to engage and lead discussions around RPA deliveries with senior management, and IT departments, ensuring management of production environment is effective and robotic resource is planned and scheduled successfully. As well as assisting with the testing phase of the RPA development, ensuring that solutions are ready for deployment into production.

This role will lead the design of the proposed solution architecture for the RPA solution, allowing process automation solution design and development in accordance with automation design principles. Seeing you direct solution proposals and validate in line with financial and strategic direction.

You'll need to be:

We are looking for candidates who are qualified in BluePrism automation and hold extensive knowledge to be able to act as an expert. Along with demonstrable evidence in managing an RPA automation team and delivery of solutions.

You'll also need hold previous work experience in managing or supervising a team. As a newly established team strong engagement and management style will be key to support the embedding of new RPA modellers.

Stakeholder management across multiple domains, globally internal and external will require you to be experienced in negotiating and working with senior stakeholders.
