My Leeds based client is looking to recruit an experienced Security Access Specialist to administer and manage user accounts protecting security by ensuring full compliance with established security and audit requirements, through proactive User Security management. This includes designing and improving access control processes and leveraging existing and new technologies to support the user access management Managing compliance reporting requirements for the Security Administration team including, contributing to executive reporting, monitoring and tracking improvement plans and critical dates for both operational and project activities
As Security Access Specialist, you will administer and manage user accounts to protect security, by ensuring full compliance with established security and audit requirements, through proactive User Security management. This includes designing and improving access control processes and leveraging existing and new technologies to support the user access management
Within this role, you will :

• Create and amend user accounts, administer and provide audit support, resolving incidents within business applications.
• Process and fulfil User Security requests being completed within SLA including add /delete/modify access, compliance activities (dormancy and access reviews)
• Support User Security Impact assessments for business initiatives
• Support for ensuring all major and significant incidents are resolved within agreed Service Levels (SLA)
• Support significant incident triage ensuring the correct priorities are set and the Service Desk system is kept updated
• Support security event monitoring and help ensure handling processes are in place and managed effectively
• Support the timely delivery and quality of Security information for Management packs and supporting reporting activities
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and improve quality of service
• Support your area and help ensure PCI-DSS compliance
• Support Disaster Recovery and help ensure it is User Security compliant
• Support audit requests to be successful and completed on time

Technically, the Security Access Specialist will be able to demonstrate the following :

• Extensive access management experience covering end to end user lifecycle
• Experience of access governance and compliance activities including account dormancy, recertification and periodic access reviews
• Experience of managing users within Microsoft Active Directory
• Proven experience of process improvement and deployment of those processes
• Deep knowledge of Excel for analysis and reporting
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
