Senior Business Analyst

Currently recruiting a permanent Senior Business Analyst for a global professional services organisation based in Leeds. You must be able to work closely with senior stakeholders and cross functional project teams to understand and communicate technical concepts and translate them into a clear vision for business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Shape the project definition, analysis approach and project resource planning
  • Ensure the project objectives are managed throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage the analysis activities across one or more projects
  • Provide coaching and support to other Business Analysts and assigning analysis activities and controlling workloads
  • Take responsibility for work to investigate business problems and opportunities
  • Work effectively with senior business and IT stakeholders
  • Conduct investigations at a strategic level and assure feasibility of proposed solution
  • Advise senior stakeholders on business change priorities within the context of the organisational strategy and objectives
  • Take responsibility for the detailed specification and solution modelling
  • Advise on the feasibility of proposed business and technical change
  • Undertake impact analysis on major design options and trade-off
  • Make recommendations and assesses and manages associated risks

Key Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of systems, development methods, techniques and standards
  • Experience of working in an enterprise environment
  • Understanding of different development approaches - Agile, XP, TDD, SCRUM, Waterfall
  • Able to work with application development tools, Big Data, Data Analytics and AI
  • Project planning and control techniques
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams
