Service Desk Analyst / First Line Support Analyst
My Yorkshire based client is looking to recruit an experienced First Line Support Analyst to work in the IT Service and Business Support team of this growing company. The company is modernising legacy business applications, systems, processes and infrastructure to support future growth and expansion.
As Service Desk Analyst, you will support, proactively monitor and administer business applications and infrastructure solutions.
Within this role, the Service Desk Analyst will :
* Respond to first line support or end user queries
* Work with the IT Service Manager and wider support teams to ensure recurring technical issues are rectified and mitigate risk
* Support, administer and deliver IT solutions across the group working with the ITIL framework
* Update the ticketing system, logging and escalating all calls appropriately
* Liaise closely with the business and third party suppliers
* Assist, implement and test feasible solutions
Technically, the IT Service Analyst will possess the following :
* Hands on experience of administering, supporting and troubleshooting IT systems and infrastructure solutions
* Knowledge of Helpdesk software, ITIL principles and asset management
* Expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft Office and ERP systems user support
* Knowledge of Windows Server 2008 -2019
* Office 365 including Azure AD, Exchange, Intune and ideally Sharepoint
* Hyper V
* Database management
The role may require some out of hours work and occasional travel to remote sites
