Service Desk Analyst / Helpdesk Analyst / Technical Support Analyst - Near Peterborough

A new opportunity exists to recruit a number of experienced Service Desk Analysts on an initial 6 month contract basis.

Working near Peterborough, the Service Desk Analyst will deliver an exceptional level of first and second line support for all infrastructure, desktop and laptop computing, mobile and fixed telephony, printing and business applications.

As Service Desk / Help Desk Analyst, you will :

  • Resolve and control the root cause of technical incidents
  • Provide a high level of first time fix, ensuring service levels are achieved
  • Restore normal service as quickly as possible and minimise risk
  • Engage with service owners to provide appropriate support action
  • Undertake testing of end user services prior to release
  • Maintain all end user computing and applications including patch management and firmware/ application upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with Change
  • Identify and report security risks
  • Support third line teams with problem management

Technically, the Technical Support Analyst will have proven first and second line support experience with a high degree of technical knowledge in end user computing, mobile and fixed telephony, printers and business applications.

This is initially a 6 month contract which may extend.
