Technical Architect (AWS)

Location – York

Salary - £75k plus bonus and benefits

We are looking for a Technical Architect (AWS)to join a team of forward-thinking and experienced Engineers focused on developing and supporting internal AWS Cloud MSP offerings.

Role Responsibilities

  • Working within the Internal UNIX and Linux team developing and supporting Internal Cloud Managed Service offerings
  • Working in, or supporting, implementation or migration projects and managed service onboarding
  • Seeking out new technologies and features and introducing those that deliver additional value
  • Design and implementation consultancy for customer and internal teams.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Hands-on experience with a range of AWS services in production environments – primarily the compute, networking, storage, database, security and IAM, and management tools service groups
  • Solid understanding of DevOps and related principles, and demonstrable experience with complex CI/CD implementations and IAC tools
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Presentation skills and ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences effectively
  • Certified AWS Solutions Architect to at least Associate
  • Proven experience of architecture and leading the implementation of customer solutions on AWS
