Technical Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst

My Yorkshire based client is looking to recruit an experienced Technical Support Analyst / Service Desk professional to provide an exceptional level of customer support across multiple offices throughout the UK.

Working within a busy Support team, the Service Desk Technician will liaise with the IT Manager and Technical Lead for all escalations and work flow updates.

Within this role, the Technical Analyst will :

? Support users on a day to day basis
? Maintain all helpdesk tickets by ensuring solutions, escalations and closing of tickets
? Provide a level of first time fix and escalate issues accordingly
? Monitor and respond quickly to incoming requests related to IT issues
? Configure PC’s and printers for use, basic repairs and arrange replacements
? Exchange broken hardware for new
? Upgrade mobile assets, including data and setting migration
? Undertake project work as deemed appropriate
? Maintain the asset register, managing replacements, checking deliveries and returns as necessary
Liaise with the IT support contractors where a quick local fix is preferential
? Day to day maintenance of the production/test servers and Active Directory estate.

Technically, the Service Desk Analyst will possess the following:

? Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10)
? Expertise in Microsoft Office/Office 365
? MS exchange user management
? Knowledge of a domain Server based infrastructure.
? A working knowledge of Active directory including user groups and policies
? Remote system access.
? Working knowledge of the Citrix environment.
? Understanding of Virtual machines (VMware and HyperV)
Candidates will be required to attend the office 2 days a week with the flexibility to work from home 3 days per week. Flexibility will be required to attend office sites throughout the UK.
