Technical Support Engineer
Up To £28,000 + Benefits
The Bridge IT are working with a professional services company based in Leeds city centre who require an experienced Technical Support Engineer to work in a busy support team.
This role will cover 2nd/ 3rd Line and will require the ability to deal with the more technically advanced support calls raised by the Service Desk. You will liaise with the 1st Line, Field Service teams and the 3rd line teams to take incidents through to resolution.
As Technical Support Engineer you will ensure all support incidents are logged in the ITSM toolset and are resolved in line with SLA's.
Within this role you will :
- Handle calls and emails in a timely manner
- Prioritise calls, escalating accordingly
- Work within an ITIL framework
- Maintain regular communication with the end user
- Attend Service Reviews
- Attend weekly CAB meetings
- Provide ongoing training and support to the Service Desk team
Technically, you will possess demonstrable skills with the following :
Windows Desktop and Server,
Microsoft and / or ITIL certification would be highly beneficial.
