My client a leading company based in Wakefield are searching for a UI / UX Designer to work with a team of a forward-thinking individuals who solve problems using a range of technologies from web and native mobile apps, websites and intranets.

Looking for someone who has commercial experience working on projects:

  • From the beginning in the early sales process.
  • Meeting with clients and users to gather requirements.
  • Present ideas and validate concepts.
  • Prototyping is essential across various levels from sketching, interactive tools such as Balsamiq mockups and HTML/CSS.
  • Experience working with the development team to implement the prototypes and UI design into the functional system.

As a UI/ UX Designer, you will work closely with all parties involved in projects, from the client and users, business analysts, project managers and developers throughout the lifespan of the project. Also will be responsible for leading the design direction in both projects and internally looking to adopt new technologies and methodologies.

Key Skills/Experience

  • Sketching, producing wireframes and creating interactive prototypes
  • Confident using Photoshop & Illustrator to create the design concepts/assets
  • Creating and presenting the visual look and feel of high fidelity designs
  • Experience creating scalable HTML & CSS and implementing with a responsive methodology
  • Working closely with a development team to implement the UI

Beneficial
